Vitamin folic acid is very important before and during pregnancy, especially in the early weeks of pregnancy. Pregnant women who suffer from folic acid deficiency increases the risk of babies suffering from neural tube defects (Neural Tube Defect / NTD), such as spina bifida. Immediately when you get yourself pregnant then immediately consume additional folic acid as a supplement to the amount of 400 mg or in accordance with that suggested by the doctor. This must be done during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.
